Paul B Dilworth
Paul graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Illustration. He has painted over 150 commissioned portraits of people’s houses in London and the countryside. Some of these are shown here, as well as commissioned interiors and oil paintings of dogs. Commissions can be arranged via the Contact section.
In 2010 Paul had a watercolour of Liverpool accepted in the Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition, at the Mall Galleries in London, and in 2011 and 2012 he had oil paintings accepted in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. He was shortlisted for the Summer Exhibition in 2014 and 2015. Paul regularly exhibits at the Llwellyn Alexander Gallery in London.
After exhibiting extensively in Los Angeles, Paris and London, his latest paintings are oil on linen and measure approximately 20” x 16.” They are concerned with different aspects of London life, from ice skaters in London cityscapes to Bonfire Night celebrations in London Squares.
Paul has also worked in London as a background painter for various animation companies, and his work is featured in television adaptations of “The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe” and “The Tales of Beatrix Potter.” In 1994 he moved to Los Angeles, painting backgrounds for Warner Brothers “Space Jam” as well as numerous other productions. He also painted many murals whilst in Los Angeles.
